Agree for the most part. Except Det weaker in goal & Boston is on fire. Montreal/TB is tough call. COL got fireworks but they can't allow so many goals in playoff time however MIN not a huge scoring threat. & Anaheim sweeps DAL. I'll go w/ STL--better D.

The Flyers threw a long contract at MacDonald as I thought they would, at least it wasn't another nine figure deal.

Given the way that MacDonald has played for the Flyers and his age, I think that is a good signing. Flyers also signed their prospect Shayne Gostisbehere today, so their D prospects for the next few years are starting to look better.

The NHL playoff schedule is wonky. PIT/CBJ played Wednesday, now they sit till Saturday.

My picks would look something like that if I watched teams other than Chicago and Detroit (lifelong Wings fan, living in Chicago).

Bryz has been doing relatively well; he isn't the sift that I saw him as when he was with the Flyers.

Nah. No-one wants to get ejected at the beginning of a playoff game.

I live in Vancouver and since the Canucks are out, most people don't give two s**ts about the playoffs.

Pity; I have no friends who aren't Canucks fans...gah....have to watch the Kings alone..:'(

What a melt down by the Flyers in the third. That was some incredible work on the PP by the Rangers as well.

The wild give up a 4-2 lead to lose 5-4 in OT isn't a great way to start either.
