My predictions for first round?

Eastern

Detroit over Boston in 7
New York over Philadelphia in 6
Pittsburgh over Columbus in 6
Montreal over Tampa in 7


Western

Chicago over St. Louis in 5
Los Angeles over San Jose in 7
Colorado over Minnesota in 5.
Anaheim over Dallas in 7

Agree for the most part. Except Det weaker in goal & Boston is on fire. Montreal/TB is tough call. COL got fireworks but they can't allow so many goals in playoff time however MIN not a huge scoring threat. & Anaheim sweeps DAL. I'll go w/ STL--better D.

Brendan Shanahan gave up his role as head of the NHL's Department of Player Safety to become president of the Maple Leafs.

The Flyers threw a long contract at MacDonald as I thought they would, at least it wasn't another nine figure deal.

My picks would look something like that if I watched teams other than Chicago and Detroit (lifelong Wings fan, living in Chicago).
