Bruins tonight. A nice original six series tonight. A few B's have been out with the flu recently and no word yet on if kelly, bartkowski or paille will be playing. Hopefully Jordan Caron learned how to forecheck if he's filling in on the 4th line. Hell, maybe krug will take a few more shifts on the 4th line.
It really has been fun to watch the B's, especially given they've lost two key d-men for most the year.
I think it's time for Iginla to raise that cup!

Ugh is right. The Wild we're controlling many aspects of play. Colorado came out hitting hard. Physical game. Wish we had bigger guys on D.

Habs are looking awesome. I said at the begining...if Eller and Bourque get hot, and the 4th line puts in a goal or two, we will be very tough to beat.

You know that commercial for NHL mobile network - fear of missing out on hockey. I'm living it - at my in-laws for the next couple of weeks with no cable. I'll be checking in on this thread for updates/commentary on all the games. From what I read, BOS-DET was tight with DET having great puck possession and fine goaltending from both keepers. Datsyuk's goal was a great one. This is why I wasn't crazy about facing the Wings - the 8th place finish was more a reflection of their health during the season than their talent.

That 1-0 Wings/Bruins game was proof that you don't have to have a lot of scoring for an exciting game. Datsyuk reaching back, extending his stick and dragging the puck through his feet....at full speed. Pleeeezzzz!!

Tough patch there for sure, last year was pitiful as well, but we're looking a lot better now.
