The Habs are a tough matchup for Boston and contrary to what I used to think, it is not primarily because of they get under the B's skin, but because they skate and forecheck and push the puck fast. Montreal is also giving and taking hits more than I recall them doing in the regular season. This series is a coin flip, I take some comfort that the B's appear to be getting a little better each game, I'd feel more comfortable if they accelerate that rate of improvement.

Darth - I know you enjoyed the B's singer Rene Rancourt - how does he stack up against Montreal's Ginette (don't call me Janet - ht Dan Shaugnessy) Reno?

Habs are hitting cause it's the playoffs. Murray was a beast last night. Great game.

As to the singers I love Rene's fist pump, but I'd have to take Ginette backing me in a knife fight.

I can't imagine teams have much say in the schedule. Delaying a game would throw the whole thing off. Not that I'm not sensitive to the situation - it's very unfortunate - but I don't see the playoffs coming to a halt.

Yeah, I'm still hoping the Hawks win and avenge the Avs. This is looking dangerously like a repeat. But on the other hand, if they manage to beat the Hawks I'll feel less bad about the Avs having lost to them. Lol.

As much as I love my Habs....I still am totally baffled how the press and the public keep praising Price. I would trade him for a bag of pucks. Its sad as Montreal has a decent team, but they will never win a cup with Price in the nets.
They shoulda hept Halak!

Yeah right....game two...... 3 shots top corner, three goals. Montreal probably has the best defensive corps in the NHL and Price gets all of the credit. He has never been in the top 20 for save %. The Emperor has no clothes.
Oh well.....only 15-20 yrs until he retires and we can start thinking about a cup again.
