I'm gonna go and hope the series isnt over yet and that the habs can still somehow do this. It's not like i really believe in a cup but a semi final would have been nice.

Stayed up to watch the Kings/Ducks game. Those two teams are playing some serious playoff hockey. After Sutter pulled Quick, a whole period without Anaheim recording a shot.....Wow! Role players for the Ducks came up big.....Cogliano, Palmieri, Winnik, and Vatanen in his second game, playing like a seasoned pro. The captain, Getzlaf lead the way and stopped a sure fire goal in the crease. And Boudreau putting in Gibson in the high pressure cooker of a must win game....gutsy coaching move. This series kicks!!
Despite the low score, that was a great game to watch. Perhaps one of the best defensive games I've seen, both side of the puck. Awesome footage to teach shot blocking and how to defend the shooting lanes.

Yep. The team Pens fans are all too familiar with, in the playoffs, resurfaced in games five and six. They blew their wad in games three and four. It looks like my prediction of NYR in the SCF isn't so crazy after all.
Bylsma will smile and say pretty things about the games, even after they lose game seven, then he'll be back behind the bench next season to guide this team to an excellent regular season, then fizzle out in the playoffs. But hey, after five years now of this, I am used to it. I have learned to enjoy the regular season and expect nothing in the playoffs. Thank you to the Pens for a fun regular season.

I still don't see the NYR making the SCF. I don't think they are that good. Last two games have been a combination of them playing pretty well, and the Pens playing abysmal. They are definitely the better team in the series right now, but I don't see them getting past either MTL or Boston.
Montreal & Boston in this round is similar to 49ers & Seahawks in postseason last year.

I think games 1-3 were more entertaining but yes it's a lot to see. Game 4 Kings looked cooled off Sutter best light a fire under their butts tonight.
I'd like to see the Bruins put this series with Montreal to bed tonight. It would give the Bruins a chance to rest up a bit before facing the Penguins or Rangers. Montreal and Boston are too evenly matched to chance a game 7. Is it just me, or does P K Subban whine a lot? He's the best player on that team, lots of talent and energy, but he whines at everything.
I realize the Rangers aren't as skilled as PIT, BOS, or MTL, but at this point of the season a hot goalie and some emotion can carry you to some wins. The Rangers only need nine more wins.

Bruins don't look good today. I think they need to skip the chasing around and start hitting. Looks like a game 7 in Boston anyway. At least make Montreal pay a price for this win, if they get it.
Boston was awful. They looked just like the Jets usually do. Standing around, waiting to see what's going to happen instead of making it happen. What a drag.
