2013-2014 NHL playoffs thread.

Selanne picks up an assist. Nice win for the Ducks. Another exciting week of NHL hockey lined up with two more game sevens.

The IIHF WC's are in full swing right now. Russia blew the doors off the USA, 6-1 on Monday. I don't see where any of those games are scheduled to broadcast in the USA yet. Bummer deal.

TSN's got them. If you dont get that channel then maybe though their website?

Actually, you should probably stop all this nonsense and just move to Canada.

The NHL channel has broadcast a few of the games so far Mike.

I expect to see the Bruins come out swinging on Wednesday. I'm pretty sure the Bruins were aware of how bad they stunk up the place. I don't expect a repeat of that performance on Wednesday.

The first period will be your regular panzer corps invading Poland kind of slug fest. If I was the Habs coach I would be putting on the foil and dressing Murray and Moen for that down low action. I expect the Bruins to be....well, the Bruins.

B's have to be playing from the drop, there is not enough time to gradually get into the game. A few clean breakouts and a few less shanks and whiffs on shots would go a long way as well.

C's worked hard for most of their chances (first one was a gift) and capitalized on pretty much all of them. I expect the work rate to be there tomorrow, but I hope that the hockey gods get stopped at the border.

I jumped off the PIT bandwagon a long time ago. I got on for games three and four, then jumped off again.

The article is speculation on what will happen to the team if they lose tonight. That's all.

I'm a hockey fan first, Penguins fan second. I watch them as much as I can throughout the regular season, but if there is a better match up on in the same timeslot, I'll at best flip between the two, but will usually put on whichever is turning out to be the better game. I love my Pens, and stick with them through good and bad, but things do need shaken up a bit in town, so it's hard to stay super pumped.

Yeah, I think it's just about that time of the cycle where they stink up the league for eons & stockpile them first overall picks.
