2013-2014 NHL playoffs thread.

Penguins have settled into a complacent cycle where making the playoffs every year keeps enough fans happy during the regular season that the team pulls in plenty of money and making the playoffs is always "good enough". Well guess what, it's not good enough, when you have two generational talents on your team and you haven't even come close to winning the cup since winning it in 2009. I've grown tired of settling for the playoffs and this team needs a shake up, starting with the head coach.

Not sure what you mean by falling off the Pittsburgh bandwagon. I probably missed a total of 7 regular season games this year due to bass stuff, and that's it. I've been a die hard Pens fan since I was a little kid.

Does it hurt when your team gets knocked out in the first round?

You should ask fans who cheer for San Jose or Vancouver...two of the biggest choking teams I have ever SEEN!!

The Canucks, since Game 6 of the 2011 Finals, won only one game out of ten playoff games. They won once in LA in 2012, lost the next game and got eliminated to the eventual Cup champions, and got swept the next year by San Jose.

San Jose, on the other hand....yeah...any Sharks fans here? I won't tell them what happened to your team this year..

Im so happy right now Im just going to enjoy this for a minute. NYRs were toast a few days ago and now they just sent home Crosby, Malkin and an extremely solid Penguins team. Looking forward to the next round!

And that team just lost their coach his job. Well done.
The coach (hopefully) lost his own job. Bylsma has proven time and again that he doesn't do well in playoffs. Somehow rocks during the regular season, but when it matters, time and again he fails to produce match ups and dynamics that are crucial.
