Bruins win!!!! Detroit can't skate for 60+ minutes with the B's. They are going down in Boston Saturday. They are physically spent & totally frustrated by the B's defensive system. Claude Julien is a mastermind! Datsyuk is amazing, and Kronwall and Smith are playing well, but it's not enough. Game 5 is the end for Detroit.

The only frustration I saw in the game was coming from Boston. It looked to me like they think they should be walking all over Detroit. Detroit was working pretty hard, tonight. I give them a lot of credit. Don't get me wrong. I think Boston should win. I mean they're number one playing number 8. If they don't win, something went terribly wrong.

And another bad night for the Avs. Starting to worry. Lol. Don't know if we can manage with both Duchene and Barrie being injured. At this point it's like watching a completely different team. Feels like Varlamov is the only one still trying to win.

Kings survive another shark attack. I never lost faith in them, but anything IS possible in the playoffs. Game 5. San Jose. Let's pull off another victory in the Shark Tank!

I don't like the Avs and did want the Wild to pull off an upset--but after Matt Cooke's stunt I kind of want the Wild to lose.
Well, either way I'm not invested too much either way.

I dont buy this. In this day and age, you have to be a pretty good team to even make the playoffs. The number 8 seed is a good hockey team and can beat anyone.

I seem to remember an LA team a couple years back that was an 8 that acquitted itself in a satisfactory manner.....

Bringing Laughton up looks like. Getting Rinaldo off the ice seems a smart move right now. He's been a turnstile more than anything else so far and shows no signs of working out of it. He's just too hesitant.

Granted I didn't watch Varlamov or Bishop play much this year, but I'd still give Rask my vote. The elite level of play this guy has been able to consistently play at is pretty amazing.

In the last 20 years or so the Presidents Trophy winner hasnt also won the Stanley Cup very often either. What does that tell you?

Agreed. In the past 10 years or so since the lock-out I think only two champions were top-seeded.
