Thought some of you might enjoy this pic. First time using an 810 on a gig with my new V4B. It kills! Used the old flatback since it matches the V4B and my Heritage 810e doesn't. That flatback is a PITA to move compared to the H810e. I need a Heritage grill for the V4B...hint hint

My favorite rig ever. V4B/SVT810! Love it!

That stuff doesn't look nearly blue enough to be a very good match. It's more like the old Traynor gray.

There's cloth that's pretty close readily available from several suppliers.
MojoTone has [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. I think someone already mentioned Fliptops.com. and CE Distribution probably has it too.

If a manufacturer wants a US made grille cloth, they usually go to Wendell Fabrics. Chances are, that's where Loud goes. Google Mellotone cloth.

I'm a bit late here, but here goes. First, I've got no problems with the post everything-DI idea. Sure, the sound guy will have to make adjustments if I make a change, but it's not like I do it all the time. My Walkabout works that way and I think it sounds way better through the DI than the FX Out.
On the other hand JimmyM, if I had a REDDI I'd use it all the time too!

Second, I'm really curious about the ohm thing. If I feel I absolutely have to use a 2,67 ohm cab combination, which jack am I supposed to use, 2 or 4 ohm? Will it damage the amp?

I looked that Wendell site up and it's too bad the pics aren't very clear. All the black ones just look black.

It is, and I would most likely use the 2 ohm speaker outs as your impedance is 2.67 ohms.

Yes they are, and they're not designed to work that way. The total impedance is what counts, and you shouldn't split them like that because of the way transformers work. Which I don't quite understand but I know that they're not designed to combine like that.
