2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

I found this on a vintage ampeg v4 forum . Not sure on any of this info was good reading though .
The design doesn't seem too far of a cry from the v4bh in regards to the preamp. It's in the power section that they do something interesting.
They do exactly what I've been doing to V4bs to improve performance. Change the phase inverter to a cathodyne and then throw a couple of medium mu gain stages after. Much like the SVT.

Looks great! Seconded on the grill cloth, I've got the opposite problem going on (black grill on the head, silver on the cab), hopefully getting it settled soon...
For sure. This will be my next project.
Has anybody an idea where I can find a shop for this matching cloth?
fliptops.net sells cloth or complete baffles. Invalid Link Removed has the cloth as well if you want to go DIY.

A complete buffle would be fine. But I live in europe. So I`m afraid the transport will be very expensive.
The complete grill costs 92 at fliptops plus transport plus taxes... puh... but it`s necessary.

I that case I'd email Ampeg directly and see what their pricing is, they may be able to get you product quicker/cheaper through their distribution network versus buying from fliptops.
You could put a CL grill on the V4B. Would save a few bucks going that route.
So with this new thread, I guess I'll take this opportunity to pimp mah brand early on:
Grill cloth for a 610 through Ampeg direct is $42.50 plus shipping. I contacted them about a month ago. I also contacted them for replacement speakers for a 610.....guess who was $30 less PER speaker?? Musicians Friend.
V4B on top of 8x10 sweet looking rig . Now that I can lift the V4B easier then a svt . Its got me thinking on what cabs to run . I like the idea of 1 cab instead of 2 x 4x10 so many choices 
I had to laugh. The cat, the curtain, and what could be a teetering amp looks like a Rube Goldberg mouse trap.
