2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

In life, if you have a V4B, certain things are inevitable.


Or not. I bought my vintage V4b from another TBer a few years ago along with this cab he had made for it. 215/265 and sounds/looks great. I think cab options for a great tube head are only limited by imagination and personal taste.

Someone mentioned towards the end of thread, part 1, putting the head in the middle, with one 2x10 above, one below. Have you tried that option? Might be slightly less precarious, as well as less load on the head.

Yeah, I tried it, but I couldn't get past the look ;)
 
Yea, put a little nick in the tolex on the bottom of the cab, and dent one of the corners on the back...scratch n' dent fire sale special...

Im thinkin of pickin up one of those 212s if they are made to rest the V4B on. I love my 410, but ive since made it...uh...really heavy. sometimes i may not want to move it if i dont have to!
