2013 Ampeg V-4B 100W Reissue Pt2

Great. I hit the whole thing with a belt sander. Just needs a second coat and I have to hit the front edges. Working on the grill cloth now.
Thanks, I've tried allsorts over the years but finally ended up with this, well worth the effort it takes to load in and out!
Cheers, I've spent many years and gone through a shed load of gear before getting to this, I've had Peavey and Trace Elliot and more recently I've tried Ashdown, Aguilar and Markbass ( trying to go small and light...didn't work for me). I finally found Ampeg was the sound I was after and tried various set ups before arriving at this...and I couldn't be happier!
Does the 2nd input act as a parallel output? Like a thru on a DI with a 15db pad? It seems to work that way and I didn't blow anything up.
The reason I ask is I want to use the V4b with My Jule Monique as a DI, Mo does not have an Uneffected output and in a particular case I may not want Mo to effect my stage sound.

I don't know if it's unaffected, but sure, jumping channels is a time honored tradition.
I use em both at same time. One for bass guitar one for bass keys. ..sometimes but rarely they're both actually making noise (music? ) at the same time. No probs.
Refinished with Duratex and AV grill cloth from Fliptops

Maybe someone that knows how to read the block diagram can comment? Seems to be unaffected except for a lower volume (-15db pad) at least that's what it sounds like.
Thanks. It's not show room quality but well beyond the minimum standard for a stage.

I have a question that's been burning for a while now. I've read a lot about the V4B reissue and it looks like it's right up my alley tonewise. But I am worried that I won't have enough 'cleanheadroom' on stage. I play in a hiphop 5 piece band and a indiepop quartet, both bands are loud but not louder than anyother rockband most of us tend to know from playing in the city. Do you think if I get an Ampeg V4B with 212AV cab I would be settled for playing live? In a store I can't really put the volume to the test

I know that ain't what ya wanna hear. Sorry. Volume is SO variable. For me, for some gigs, it wouldn't be enough - for CLEAN tube tone. That's why I've got a Fender Super Bassman. But I'd think if you added another 212, you'd most likely be right.
For me the 300w of the Super Bassman it allows me fully clean, deep and FAT tone at great volumes. And that's what I need. Ymmv.
