Happy people don't post as much as complainers, I guess. It's getting quiet around here. Is there a new amp better than our beloved V4B ?

For some it will be gross overkill (I'm in this category). For some it will be just enough. For some it won't be nearly enough. There is no way we can tell you what your volume needs are, so I'm afraid I can't help you. All I can tell you is it sounds divine.Really really want to get a V-4B and the SVT-212AV but ive heard lots about it not having quite enough volume especially clean, can someone who has gigged this rig in small to medium venues comment on this?
I’ve been playing small dive bars recently and barely get to open her up. Typically have the gain set at 8-9ish, and the master at 12. looks awesome though.Really really want to get a V-4B and the SVT-212AV but ive heard lots about it not having quite enough volume especially clean, can someone who has gigged this rig in small to medium venues comment on this?

well i play a class AB 50w 1x12 combo at the moment and have the volume around 3-5 oclock for a gig so how do you think that would translate to a 100w valve head with a 2x12

Wow, that's cranked! I'm pretty sure the V4B/212av will be fine for you in that case.well i play a class AB 50w 1x12 combo at the moment and have the volume around 3-5 oclock for a gig so how do you think that would translate to a 100w valve head with a 2x12
It has a volume knob.Hi Guys ... I've got a question ... How many of you use your v4b + cab (svt 212 av) at home playing it daily there. In my case I have a b-15 at home and keep the V4B at the bands rehearsal space... Do you find the V4B too much to be playing at home ?????

When I play at home, more often than not, I don’t use an amp. It’s more about moving the hands and fingers.
And the knees, the hips, the wrists, the elbows .... damn rust!![]()
