Dang! This is getting exciting that these things are shipping! I can't wait to hear actual user reviews. Of course I might have to wait a little longer now that I just pulled the trigger on a SVT CL Heritage. Damn impulses.

Nice one, husky! I'm now living just down the road from you. If you're going to be gigging that Heritage anywhere, I'd sure like to come hear you! For that matter, I wouldn't mind doing a "taste test" on it sometime to see how it compares to my early 70's SVT. If you're ever interested in getting together for something like that, let me know!

I love Marshall...great little town!

Well, as a matter of fact the ole SVT will be making its debut at Hard Times in Manassas this Saturday at 9:30. Nothing like going right into the fire!

Mine gets here tomorrow as well. No gig this weekend, but I am setting it up next to my Fender 100T/410Neo rig so I can compare them directly. The V-4B will sit atop an SVT410HE. I should probably take the day off from work tomorrow...

Aw, now I'm bummed that I won't scoop anyone else. Dammit, if only I had entered my credit card correctly the first time, I'd have it today. Lame lame lame!

Man I'm GASsin' for this head and I wish that I could order one now like you lucky guys but I've got to get some funds together first. On my old V4B, I could get a real "progressive rock" tone along the lines of Yes, King Crimson, Asia with settings that seemingly made no sense.
It was something like Ultra Low and Ultra Hi both engaged, Mid selector flipped to the right (I guess that was 2K?), mids slight bump, bass slight bump, and treble slight bump. I'm looking forward to trying those settings and see if I'm remembering correctly. It was the 70's ya know!:D
