2014 Gibson basses

Gibson's website has been updated with individual information pages for each of their 2014 models. Their website is fantastic. Lots of great pictures, easy to navigate and all the essential info at a glance. That said, I find Gibson's choice of spokesmen bewildering:

I have a Midtown Sig at the house right now, I'll be writing a review in the near future, maybe I'm lucky with the basses Sweetwater sends - this one is very nice!

Things that don't make me excited for your product: armpit hair, male nipples, curly/waxed mustaches, and pastel pants. Couldn't they find a single woman to model one of these? I have the same gripe with the guy Fender chose to show off the Pawn Shop Mustang (the heavyset dude with excessively hairy arms and chest hair that bulged out of his shirt).

Well what's cool about your stage costume is you're obviously having fun and while I've never seen your band (other than a few videos you've posted) that's what it's about too. I'm okay with just about any band attire as long as it's for fun. But when guys appear to take themselves really seriously I get more critical about it. :D

Hear! Hear! (or should that be Herr! Herr!) :D

I love my '13 lefty SG bass. I would like to get another one and do a conversion to a true EB-3.

But I am really hoping to get lucky and find a lefty T-bird for a decent price (yeah, I know but I can dream.)
