A. We're talking about kicking a football through goalposts. Not playing nose tackle.
B. If she's good enough, of course. If there are people who still don't want to watch that, they should take a good look in the mirror and ask themselves why.
C. This has been said about a lot of things women used to not do. I bet it's going to happen eventually.

They're nearly putting dresses on the QB's now. At some point it will be touch football. Then it will be over. I will enjoy it for now.

Houston reportedly also ponied up $7million for Clowney's "signing bonus." So it appears that Seattle got an $8 million one year rental/audition, which seems like a pretty sweet deal to me.

So you're annoyed they're putting in rules to try and make it less likely that these guys end up in extreme pain and suicidal before they're 50 as a result of bashing each other for our amusement? Cool.

Not that the owners are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. They are trying to reduce their liability and make the business model sustainable over the long term.

What does this have to do with the possibllity of a female kicker?

I find the kicker situation interesting. Kickers kept getting better and better, to the point the NFL changed both the kickoff and extra point rules, and was talking about narrowing the uprights. Suddenly, it seems like half the league is searching for a kicker, and insisting through the dregs. Had I known that, I wouldn't have stopped playing...

The more that comes out about the trade, the better it looks. If he goes elsewhere after this season, Seattle gets their third round pick back in 2021. Losing Frank Clark will still hurt. Not as much as it might have.

You would have been competing with Carli Lloyd. Then again, more than two teams are looking, so there's that.

Kids are hard on knees. It wasn't catching for the kid that did mine in. It was getting taken out by him while rollerblading with him in a parking lot. It's not old sports injuries that lay most of us low. It's parenthood. Which works just fine for me. One day, I might even have the best revenge - grandchildren!
