Just 1 new bass in 23,a Marusczcyk Elwood C with Delano pickups and a John East preamp. It sounds like a Jazz bass sometimes.

Sold my Schecter for a new Yamaha.
I bought and sold this Aluminati in 2023. In fact, it sold just before midnight on New Years Eve. I'll spend most of 2024 with seller's regret but it had to go to pay for some other fine basses I couldn't live without in 2023. Sometimes I feel like I'm renting instead of actually owning.
Zero bass acquisitions in 2023**. Unless one counts better upright technique, better sight-reading, increased joy in playing… then you could say I’ve acquired a fair amount 
**I think my only physical music acquisition last year was a Fiberskyn Diplomat head for my snare drum, and a new pair of brushes. It’s a VERY good year when the instruments no longer matter, while the playing matters a great deal.

Perhaps my most irresponsible gear purchase of all time unless you're King's X, Cheap Trick, or Pearl Jam.
Not a single, solitary bass this year. Nary a one. 
To be fair, I really don't hanker for much these days, which is a good thing!
I can foresee one or two modest (and not really needed!) additions in '24 though. And an Alembic when the lottery comes in!

This year was cheap on the new bass front. Only bought one and it was $200. G&L Tribute L2500. Did not really need it (I have a US L2500), but could not pass it up for the price.
There was a few transaction in 2023 but the main conclusion is that i could have those 2 dream basses at home. I had to get rid of some very cherished instrument to keep a healthy numbers of instrument at home (Serek 5, Big Al, Stingray Special) but i made the right choice
Peavey Foundation, Mahogany body with a Rosewood fretboard. I’m absolutely floored by how well made these are.
Just one bass and a couple pedals. Aguilar AG,Darkglass AOU, DrybellUnit67(which I ended up not being a fan of and gave to my son) Darkglass Hyperluminal, and finally found a Warwick Corvette Hotrod5'er. Bought it sight unseen off reverb and was worried about the "basball bat" era necks. I had
never played one with that profile but it actually feels really good to me. But, I tend to prefer D shaped necks anyhow.
