You had a bunch of horses and parts to race!!This is a good question for which I didn't think I had a horse to race. Then again I looked at my spread sheet and viola!

Oh, man those Gould's are sweet. No pics right now, but I received a G. Gould GGi-6 fretless this year and placed an order for a GGi-6 fretted that is a bit behind schedule on delivery. That about wraps it up for me and basses as far as I'm concerned. I also have a GGi-5 fretted that breaks my redundancy rules, but has been with me since my transition to 5's and has seen a neck/truss rod upgrade. Redundant, but beloved. The basses to rule them all. One bassist to play them.

Oh, man those Gould's are sweet. Please post pix when you can!

Alright. You twisted my arm. Here is a group photo missing the new fretted that has not quite arrived. Note the generalized photographic incompetency. This is not a stylistic choice, just bad photography.View attachment 5302758

I owned a Grabber years ago and the pickup position never seemed to make a difference (another bassist I talked to said the same thing). That’s what I heard! Just plopped a thunderbird pickup right in the middle and it worked like a charm.
edit - added LP tributeOut: Harley Benton Ric 4003 copy, Gibson SG bass, Danelectro Shorthorn and Fender Mustang PJ and Les Paul Junior Tribute DC bass
In: a new Squier CV 60s P bass and a used, passive, short scale Stingray

Just this one in 2023. And it's a keeper-for-lifer. Probably the only Lakland Hobo in existence with blocks and a 1.5" nut.

Mac, it's still intactDid you play this at all before removing anything? I’m asking for the guys in the Glarry club as this is something they’d be interested in.
