What is most likely is the first pedal you were plugged into before you got the Euna was putting a load on your instrument and that had a sound. Then when you got the Euna and put it in the mix you changed what you plug your bass into, how it drives loads, and that also has a sound. Now its just up to you to decide which of those sounds you like most. There isn't any objective good or bad. Believable has likely spent more time designing a buffer pedal than anyone else in history. Even the 'great buffer' in a lot of products is a generic circuit block that performs fine because guitars and basses are not high bandwidth instruments and as long as you go from high impedance to lowish impedance you're probably going to sound fine within a reasonable range of tones.
