SansAmp and Noble are not even comparable, nor directed to the same type of users.
I've recorded in professional studios many times, and these subtle differences hardly matter anymore because technology allows you to compensate for almost anything.
Regarding SansAmp and Noble: My point was that you can't hear the differences in a band mix. I've used both devices for an extended period and was able to compare them. Perhaps more noticeable in a studio setting, but see above.
Basically, it's perfectly fine to spend a lot of money on barely audible differences and a lot of marketing hype. What's not okay is making baseless claims.
