GREAT idea! I need to measure up my Strat and Jazz bass tonight. If it looks like the parts could work I just might pick up a cheap J and Strat to mash together. I can do my own pickguard from aluminum and I just happen to have a Sadowsky J pickup in a box somewhere... Can't think of any other parts I might need? Ought to be able to do a little work with a router and drill and knock it right together I guess.
