$300 head

Like 2, 8 ohm 300 watt cabs? Power 2 of those same cabs at a medium size gig?

Quit making the mistake at looking at the cab power ratings! If the amp has no problem pushing one cab it will have no problem with two, so long as it doesn't go below the amp's 4 ohm minimum load. Those cabs are 8 ohms each and rated at 200 watts. Should be no problem at all.

Because they then run at 4 ohm...right? Anyway, sorry - I need a head and haven't had a cab/head set up in a very long time.

I will repeat what I mentioned earlier in the thread .. I liked the sound of the Hartke 210XL, but found them not liking to be driven very hard ... so if someone likes the sound of one cab with this head, two would most likely sound even better, AND it will lower the power that each driver sees and keep them much happier as well ...

Just curious, do you think that your head could run 2 of those same cabinets no problem?
It seems like it would be powerful enough to "run" them at 250W @ 4ohm load. Combined, the cabs are rated for 400W. So it should do great. In fact I've entertained the possibility of purchasing another 210XL. My only issue....I really don't play any gigs that would require a 410.

Todd, might pay to keep your eyes open for a used one .. as mentioned, replacement drivers are no longer available for these ... buy one good shape used would be like money in the bank .. I just sold two, both excellent condition for $250 for the pair locally ... still have one with a slight buzz in one driver, and I never pushed them either, thats why my caution on what they can handle ... will probably be parting that one out when I get around to it ...
