36 Cheap American Beers, Ranked

36 Cheap American Beers, Ranked

And then there is Keystone, which first appeared to the world in 1989, in Chico, Calif., home of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. Keystone separates itself from the rest of the crap pack by augmenting the typical stale/sour flavor profile with notes of brown bananas and green armpits. Keystone is worse than Heineken and murder.

Rolling Rock. Smells like three fat guys in a two-man tent.

I used to clean bar bathrooms, and an overwhelming majority of the bottles left in the john at the end of the night were Bud Light. Bud Light dudes are afraid of leaving their beer unattended, as if they have reason to worry about the fate of unattended beers. I suppose there's something apt about these beers ending the night on top of a urinal. It's like a little story about the nitrogen cycle.

It's an amusing read. :)

I don't see how Keystone can be considered the worst beer in the US. Nothing wrong with Keystone. Add a lime wedge and it's great. And even better is taking full advantage of the summer holiday sales at supermarket where you can buy a maximum of 5 30 packs for $9.99 each. Can't beat that.

I would drink Keystone (any variety) over Bud, Bud Light or Miller Lite any day of the week (and actually, I have :p )

Around here the big 4 are Miller Lite, Coors Lite, Bud and Bud Light and I find all four of those to be uniformly vile. Only time I'll drink that stuff is if they're really cold, I'm really thirsty, there's nothing else available and someone else is buying.

I used to think it was cool to drink heavy, dark, beer that tastes like coffee flavored motor oil and makes you feel like something that was scraped off the bottom of a shoe the next morning. Now I just drink Miller Lite which is ranked pretty high on this list.

You're nuts! Dark beer is where it's at in the flavor department.

This list is pretty funny. Everyone where I live buys busch because it's dirt cheap. I personally can't bear to drink it unless it's so cold that it numbs my taste buds. I like that Grain Belt is #1 on the list as that's the only beer on the list I would actually pay any amount of money for. I really don't know what the obsession is with cheap and/or light beers.

He ranks Coors is THE THIRD BEST DOMESTIC BEER?? Rocky-mountain piss water??? REALLY????? Ha haha haha hah.
This is a list of CHEAP domestic beers. ;)

Hey! I like Yuengling...a lot.

What's the deal with Coors anyway calling themselves the banquet beer? What does that even mean?

Olympia beer is great, almost as good as Rainier. Only the WA/OR/ID guys know what I'm talking about there.

They still make Olympia? Didn't know that.

There's a brand in these parts called Hamm's and the bar just down the street from me sells it for $1 a can, ice cold every Thursday night. Along with 50 cent wings. A buddy and I go down there every now and then, eat and drink ourselves silly and never drop more than $10 each for the whole night. It's awesome.
