3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

Guys, what is your choice of expression pedal for WL? I've never used exp pedals before so it's new thing to me.
This one will also work (Mission EP-25K). I use It with a xeroD.

It's the cable that gave me trouble.. Stupid TRS cable, not your standard patch cables grrr.

I always tossed around the idea of getting a second one...but I figured it could always be fixed if something happens to it...

Since its been discontinued, I may have to seriously consider that.

But, for now, I'm jonesing for the OCTAVER

For those of you who might be looking for an Enabler substitute, I can recommend the Shift Line Olympic preamp - also a full-featured, tube preamp with headphones out in a small package. My only beef with it would be the unusual power supply.

Back to 3leaf, I'm still very much enjoying my You're Doom. It's not getting off my board in the foreseeable future.

Got my Octabvre today! Now my pedalboard is all-3Leaf except B3K and TC Electronic tuner. Octave->Y'Doom->Proton->WL. Now I'm thinking of what will be the best to Octave - Proton or WL. Or leave them both with different settings? Basically, can I wire Octave and Y'Doom in WL loop and also use Proton after Octave when needed?

This is basically the board I'm thinking of building. Today's the last day of the 21% sale at Prymaxe, it's a good day to order if it's going to happen. Do you love the board? It sounds like it can cover anything from synth funk to metal. How do you like the B3K with the You're Doom? Any first impressions on the new Octabvre?

Really enjoying using the Proton, You're Doom, VMT and Octabvre in different combinations.
It appears that Spencer spends a fair amount of time making sure he gets great results when combining 3 Leaf pedals when prototyping.

I think my GAS has ended with the Octave.

Until the OD anyway.

Any reason you run a VMT instead of B3K? I'm looking at both currently, and trying to figure out which might fit the other components (and my sound) better.

I'm thinking it might be good to get the B3K for that driving modern sound, but then be able to add some "woof" to it through the You're Doom. But, could the VMT sounds great as well, and I remember seeing that it's one of the pedals Spence would have on his personal board.

I have not tried the B3K but the VMT combines with the YD really well.
It takes the synthy tone of the YD and turns it into a really nice useable medium fuzz

Spencer may add his thoughts...
