Question for Wonderlove users.
I've got the WL v1, and I have zero issues getting it to trigger with both of my basses. One is an active jazz, the other a passive P that has a pretty high output. I'm typically using the sensitivity knob in the 9:00-11:00 range, which is just past the verge of triggering for maximum definition on the opening of the envelope.
Anyway, the WL Deluxe release touted "increased sensitivity range for better compatibility with low output instruments." I'm wondering if someone can clarify what this means in terms of the filter's response and how it effects the sensitivity control? I'm considering upgrading to the Deluxe at some point for the addition of the external buffer switch and the easier access boost knob. However, I want to make sure I'm not getting a less useful response parameter in the process, since I'm pretty happy with how the v1 responds.
Any insight on the differences between the two is appreciated...
