Sounds great! Especially loved when the Polytope kicked in . . . so much that I just bought a Polytope!
Great video! I am a huge fan of the Wonderlove but have yet to get a Proton, that is on my list. I use the same chain otherwise (WL > fx loop > Octabvre mini > You're Doom), but also add the Wombtone or Polytope and also have a mini Ibanez delay that makes some of these setting sound huge.

After reading through all 169 pages I finally feel caught up. I started my pedal journey only less than a year ago and after my mxr BOD kicked the bucket, I went for the upgrade having never played 3leaf gear before. I got the octabvre mini and it wasn't long before I purchased a you're doom. 3leaf has become one of, if not my favorite pedal companies and I can't wait to get the cash for a wonderlove.

I had a bit of an epiphany with my Enabler the other day.
I had previously used it to boost the upper mids (2oclock) and treble (2oclock). I never was too happy with my sound. It was close but not there.
What I did was to cut the lower mids (9oclock). Wow! That took the mud right out but the bass wasn't thin. It did need a boost on the gain after though.

the Octave - Fuzz/dirt - Envelope setup rules for synth tones. I've been playing around with two setups:
1. Octabvre - Doom - Proton V3
2. FoxRox Octron - Doom - Proton V3
Must say that both are great!! but wiht the octave up of the Octron dialed in, the Doom and Proton really get to live. Insane FAT sounds!!
Wonder if Spencer will ever build an octaver with an octave up. would love to see that!

Seeing that the current wonderloves are blue instead of purple, does anybody know if the only difference is the color?
The one I have is purple, and the one on 3Leaf Audio's website is also purple (the lighting makes it look blueish, but its a purple).

I'd call that purple. So it appears there was a color change and a font change...otherwise I would expect no difference in hardware.
You would think so, but the same was said between the Wonderlove v1 and the Deluxe. Yet they sound noticeably different when you A/B them.
Likewise, I have a second Enabler as a back-up, and I've compared both of them. There are audible differences in the taper of the master volume and in the overall tone when you run them flat. I even think the headphone amplifiers have unique qualities when you compare them.
It makes sense if Spencer has to purchase new components for subsequent batches of a given pedal, and I don't see it as a drawback. Everything I've played from 3Leaf sounded great and was top notch in terms of quality. That said, this isn't stuff coming off of a factory line. So I would not be surprised if there are slight differences from one run of pedals to the next...
I did AB them and sold the version 1 since I thought they sounded the same. But I have read others saying they hear a difference.
Might be related to what bass and amp you use, or how sensitive your ears are.
But I do expect controls to behave somewhat different of two pedals of the same type and even batch, due to tolerances of electronical components not being that exact.

That was indeed the questions, are there other differences between the light and dark purple Wonderlove Deluxe pedals beside the cosmetics. And now I can say, no there aren't any. Yes there are slight difference on were to put the pointer of the pots to get the same sound, but the character, sound color and behavior are exactly the same.
Cosmetically: Different shade of Purple, different font type and color. The dark purple looks a bit more classy, less porno (for you to deside that is a good or bad thing
). And the font is easier to read because of the type and color. So, now I have two... and a GR and GR2.. (needles to say, the lather two sound completely different than the deluxe..)
Do you happen to have an early production V1 WL (fromel etch maybe) and a later production V1 WL? I would be curious to know if they sound different as well. If they do, it's probably down to differences in internal components as a part of their manufacture batch and the impact it has on the final circuit. I would argue that, though you found differences, they'll be indistinguishable in a gig or to anyone who's not tracking in a studio - i.e. most normal people.
I think I like the lighter purple myself.
This seemed an appropriate place to post this. PWNZOR just landed, so my board is still dominated by 3Leaf. Also have a WL v1, GR2, and Enabler that are not currently on there. Will probably unload the WL v1 and Enabler at some point soon.
