Reverb and delay started as an experiment but it works great with FI so they're staying (I may get delay with tap tempo though). I also run Octavbre and YD with the FI too.
I had a Vulcan and really liked it but flipped it to buy an XL. Instead I went through several ODs but now I have an XL coming in a few days.

So I went through sone pages of this thread, but I think this hasn't been covered before: Does anybody have some first hand experience in comparing the Proton v2 and v3?

Is it correct that the Tone knob is more or less a replacement of the earlier Range switch with a similar function (as in the two positions of the switch corresponding to two positions of the knob)?

Just wondering why you have Octabvre Mini, Future Impact and You're Doom in fx loop?

First off the Octavbre and/or YD sound great with the WL. Also some of the FI patches sound great with octave before and/or get a cool grit when adding YD after. Running the FI alone through the WL sounds great. Combining either or both with the FI going through the WL is a lot of fun. Any of these also work really well with an expression pedal.

Just curious.... Does it usually take a few days for an email reply from Spencer? I had a weird thing happen with my WL Deluxe so I sent an email through the 3Leaf site. That was Monday morning..

I picked up a You're Doom from the classifieds and can't believe how killer it is! I read a bunch of reviews and I can see how some would prefer a different flavor of fuzz, but for my style this is it. This morning I threw it in the WL Deluxe loop and can't be any happier. I plugged in and 2 solid hours later I stopped. I didn't even realize I had been playing that long! So cool....

It's been a constant on my gig board for quite some time. I could use two actually, one with a lower gain setting for just the Octabvre and another set hotter for use with the Wonderlove to get a synthy feel. I'd love a Dual Doom or Doom Deluxe in the wide enclosure.

I do that same with dirt in my WL fx loop. There are filters that can react well with fuzz in front of them but it usually seems to overtake the filter effect. My favorite for use in the WL loop is the Octabvre Mini > You're Doom. I also run my Future Impact in the loop, I place it after the Mini and before the YD and can get a lot of cool combos. I can use an expression pedal to sweep the filter on the WL manually and get even crazier. You may think it wouldn't work well but you'd be surprised how many stock FI presets work with Octabvre>Future Impact >You're Doom in the the WL fx loop.
My other go to fuzz for the fx loop is the MXR Sub Machine. They can be found used pretty cheap and the sub octave (and/or upper octave) sound huge in the loop. You can crank up the sub and get a really low, dirty filter sweep.

Like many others here, I put my Doom in WL loop. I put my Octabvre in front of the WL. I have found a really good Octaver patch for my Future Impact, very OC-2 like. The FI tracks better than the Octobvre or any other octave pedal I've ever tried. No glitching whatsoever. On my gig tonight I used the following with great results: FI with the OC-2 patch into my Wonderlove with my Doom in the loop. I also have a Broughton HP filter which I use at the end of my chain to tame some of the super lows that the FI can produce and protect my speakers. Having a lot of fun trying patches on the FI share file drive and combining the FI with my 3Leaf pedals.

I had this on my board for a couple of funk gigs this weekend..Doom in the WL loop, and the LBB at the end of the chain just before the looper as a tone boost to compensate for any tone suck. Using the HPF on the Broughton and the Ego mini compressor primarily as speaker protection when using some the the massive bass synth programs on the Future Impact, which plays very will with the Doom and WL. Also, love my new Friedman board...best design ever and light aluminum. It has a removable ramp that I put my Cry Baby bass mini on, and plenty of clearance underneath for my Truetone Pro CS7 power module.
Also, I'm going to put my WL through my Source Audio expression pedal in place of the Cry Baby to see which one I like best.

Nice setup! I went with a CryBaby and an expression pedal. If it had to be one or the other then the expression pedal would win out for me though. Sweeping the WL with the FI running through it is awesome.
