Oh yes! An enveloppe phaser From Spencer is something I would but blind!
Just had the same thought last week while I was noticing the 3Leaf domination of my board. What else could he create to continue this trend
Speaking of which, anyone here have recommendations for delay pedals that play well with their 3leaf effects? I've read some delay rec threads but still don't know where to start. I don't need endless features a la strymon. Interested in something that can give me usable delays from subtle reverb-esque to full on echo weirdness in a YD/Proton size enclosure (or smaller). Looping is a bonus but not a requirement. I would like to keep it under $150ish, unless it can replace other pedals.
Current setup is polytune > grizzly bass OD > Octabvre Mini > Wonderlove DLX (Doom in loop) > GR2 > SA Lunar > PWNZOR > LBB > Enabler
So I just got a Wonderlove Deluxe used on the bay. I also own a V1. Trying to decide which to get rid of.
The V1 does sound a lot warmer, which I like, at the same settings, but if you dial down the sensitivity on the V2, it does get pretty close to the V1. With that said I noticed that the sensitivity on the V2 will change more drastically when just turned a pinch, feeling like it's harder to dial in compared to the V1.
Also the V2 has a louder pop when engaging the pedal when I have the buffer ON. It's quiet when the buffer is off. Does anyone else have this problem?
The V1 has a small less annoying pop when the pedal is engaged.
Plus sides of the V2 are that aesthetically it looks better ( I got the first version that's purple with the orange font), I like how the buffer and boost are a lot easier to access, and of course the switch for the expression pedal.
Gonna spend more time with it. Tough decision.

I said the same thing when I bought my deluxe to compare to my v1. That was three months ago and I still own both. Good luck...
Does your V2 make a louder pop when you engage it compared to the V1?
It's a little harder for me to get rid of one because I live in Japan. They are going for a lot more here, but no body is buying them.
Neither one is a loud pop for me, unless they pick up some static or aren't grounded in the chain. In those instances, a click or two after I turn everything on for the first time seems to tame them.
Also find the v1 to be warmer/deeper sounding, but I like the added features and updates on the deluxe. I have a GR2 as well, and I really don't want to part with any of them, since each has it's own flavor...

Anyone tried the Octabvre and the Doom with a Moog MF-101? I actually want to sell my Wonderlove V1 to get the V2 but I'm not sure if I should get the moog instead. I tried the Wonderlove with an expression pedal and wasn't impressed with the sweeps... But I don't think I was dialing the settings right. If anybody has a soundclip of the Wonderlove or Moog with an EXP pedal I would love to hear it!

I have both and I go back and forth just like you do.
After months with GR2, WL1, and WL Dlx, I finally got rid of the deluxe. I'm not using an expression pedal right now, and can deal with the internal buffer/tpb switch on the V1. They both sound great, but the v1 just sounded deeper and fatter to me. To each his own...
I have the deluxe on my board, but can't get myself to part with the older version.
I'm liking the Deluxe more than V1 so far. I prefer the sharper quality of the Deluxe, plus the other options. I'm digging it with You're Doom and a Boss OC2 in the effect loop. My playing style was too soft for V1 or something. I liked the original, but not as much as the Deluxe for sure. It's funny how individual envelope filters are.
I don't have room on my board to get this, but I'd love to have my Electro Harmonix 8 Step Program pedal back and use in in the WL's expression input. It'd make for a powerful modulating filter setup. I don't really need it due to other pedals I own, but that would be such a killer analog setup. Maybe I'll still look out for one on the cheap. Anyone here ever do that?

I'm not in a band right now, but I feel that maybe the deluxe will cut through the mix better?
Also I'm using the mini Dunlop DVP4. It works great. A lot better than the DIY one that I made out of an old cry baby I found cheap and replaceed the pot. A lot smaller and lighter. I was able to add a couple more pedals to my board with the extra room.
Oh, I have expression pedals...unfortunately they are bigger than the DVP4, but they work. I was more talking about the idea of a sequencer in the expression input, which would make the WL a modulating filter when desired.
My mistake. I assumed that some changes were made like with the filters.
I fully agree with you! It's such a killer "smooth" fuzz (great description btw) and in the WL Deluxe loop it's the bees knees. I have the Octavbre Mini along with the YD in the loop.
I really like the flexibility of the YD/ WL Deluxe combo. I just got serious with pedals this year, the 3Leaf stuff really fits my play playing style. Inspiring for sure.
I have an Octavbre on the way but my OC-2 -> Doom -> Moog sounds massive! I use the Source Audio Reflex as an expression controller controlling cutoff and resonance simultaneously. Hoping to explore some weirder exp options, too, one of these days.
I have the 3leaf octave and the doom and i like them individually but when combined it really puts out a epic sound. I was unsure about the 3leaf octave as it has a glitchy sound to it and has it's limitations but it grew on me and i now like it. I had my eye on the wonderlove deluxe but the reviews have me going back and forth. Time will tell
Just received my Octabvre Mini and put it through the paces - first thing I noticed, wow this thing tracks WAY better than my OC-2, at least with my setup. I was able to hold notes that otherwise would have glitched out. The additional volume on tap is very useful, too!
Another thing I realized is how good this sounds through my ss/bs Mini - these two pedals are made for each other! I was able to have a lot of fun with the Octabvre -> Doom -> ss/bs Mini -> Moog MF-101, and my EHX Bass Clone brought the synthiness up to 11.
All in all a very worthy successor to the OC-2 on my board! Glad I picked one up.
Another thing I realized is how good this sounds through my ss/bs Mini - these two pedals are made for each other! I was able to have a lot of fun with the Octabvre -> Doom -> ss/bs Mini -> Moog MF-101, and my EHX Bass Clone brought the synthiness up to 11.
