I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for an expression pedal for my wonderlove deluxe. In the manual it says he suggests the Dunlop DVP3 but I think I have seen spencer post about using a mission exp pedal. I know exp controls can be sensitive to what pedal you use and I would rather buy the right one first instead of having to try a bunch.

I have used my Source Audio exp. pedal as well with good results. But I decided I wanted something smaller on by board so I went with the Dunlop DVP4 mini. It's a newer model.
I had DIY that only worked ok. I now use the DVP4, which is the mini version of the DVP3. It works a lot better than my DIY.
I think spencer first recommended the Mission exp then later the DVP3. I'm sure they both work just as good.
Also possible newb question but do I need to use a trs Cabel for the dvp4 or can I use a regular 1/4 inch cable

Since my last post, I received my YD pedal and I’ve been very impressed. As a gigging musician in lots of musical contexts the YD sits perfectly in a live band setting. I always had a difficult time getting the « right » fuzz sound, but I guess I’m satisfied for now!
I also decided to go with the MF-101 instead of the WL. The moogerfoogers are not perfect (size, noise etc) but it’s the real deal ! I’ve never been able to get a good sound with my WL and a passive P, but maybe it works better with active basses with higher output I guess.
Anyway, the octabvre and you’re doom are two of my favorite pedals right now. Since there’s not enough demos of 3leaf stuff on TB, Here’s a clip with a killer combo: mf101 +YD + Octabvre with my EB2D with TI flats!

Great tone! I have the same setup, love my Octabvre -> Doom -> Moog MF-101. I run that setup into chorus all the time for chunky, piercing synthbass lines.
How is your Moog set? I really need to restring my basses and I'm thinking about switching my Jazz to flats.

It really depends, I usually put the filter a bit higher than 250k and i usually blend a bit of the distorted octave with the mix knob on the moon. Honestly I think that the flats and the low end of the Gibson helps a lot!

Very impressive! But a picture is needed.
Still kicking myself for selling my Proton. Will get another one day, even though I have no need for it. Also have a 1st run edition of the You're Doom, which I love.

I sold my LBB a couple of months ago. Then came to my senses and bought another one here on TB. Kind of funny. Anyone ever do something like that?
Jup.. did that twice with a proton v2.. and now looking for one for the 3rd time... also with the Octabvre. Replaced it a year ago with the mini.. and want the MK2 now. Wonderlove? I own one for the 3rd time. Groove regulator? My second one...
