Le doesn't rhyme w "close", but "Dos" does. Maybe it is Dos-Fave for an octave w 2 voices? Spencer alluded to an octave up being included.

Combining earlier comments, maybe "Dos"-tave? It really does look like it has an octave up. I might have to break down and get one after I break down and get a chromatron.

I feel the same way about mine.Nothing that I've tried comes close to the chromatron in flexibility and overall tonal goodness for an env sweep.

Me too haven’t sold my Groove Regulator yet but I guess I should at some point.
I wasn't planning to let go of my groove regulator, but then I put it on the board next to the chromatron and A/B'ed the heck out of them (wasn't sure the chromatron was worth it - snagged one on a black friday deal to check out and flip) the chromatron never left the board and the groove regulator finally was dethroned.
Give it a side by side with the same settings and your mind will be blown at how much better the chromatron does it.

I posted a very brief cell phone video comparison in the dedicated Chromatron thread a couple months ago.I have a groove regulator 2 and a v1 wonderlove. Was considering selling both to fund a chromatron. Anyone know of any A/B videos between the chromatron and the GR2 or winderlove? I searched YouTube and couldn’t find any.

It’s not a great video since it’s cell phone audio, which isn’t exactly high quality, and it really only looks at the one type of setting that I use on gigs. That said, after having owned a GR1, and WLD I think the Chromatron handily beats them out in every conceivable way.Oh dope! Sorry I missed that, I’ll go huntin
I'm not very effects savvy despite owning tons of pedals.
If you put a Mantic Hulk in the effects loop of a Chromatron, is that considered a parallel loop? I am trying to incorporate my Hulk in such a way that the effected signal does not dominate everything else in the path.
It kind of depends how you intend to use it. If you are using the Hulk in the Chromatron's loop with the Chromatron engaged, you'll get a parallel loop using the mix knob. So your signal will hit the envelope detector > the Mantic > the chromatron's filter, and then you can blend that with the 'clean' signal you sent into the pedal. If you put the Hulk in front of the chromatron, the 'mix' on the chromatron will be a blend of the hulk signal & the hulk > chormatron signal. Hopefully that makes sense. For example, I like using my wonderlove with a fuzz in front of it for super fuzzy synth sounds, because I can keep the WL mix at 50/50 to keep lots of beefy fuzz and then mix the fuzz > filter on the other half.
Having said all that, I don't think the Chromatron will let you use the parallel loop function for just the Hulk (i.e. with the chromatron disengaged and the fx loop switch down/off.
