The 3Leaf GR2 is probably one of the finest envelope filters known to man!

Even though I love my Chromatron, I just had to snatch up this rare bird. I've literally been waiting years for the opportunity. I guess I'm just a 3Leaf filter junky. I've now owned every model except the original GR. Please stop making envelope filters Spencer.

I found it a bit peaky and not as smooth as the moog mf-101. That was my only complaint though

MF101 is king, but it really shines in LPF sweeps.

I say slot that Doom immediately after the Octabvre and before (at least) one of the two filters. You are just two tetris moves away from a top-notch synth stack...

Those are Voodoo lab small dingbat boards powered with their pedal power 2 power supplies.

I also have a synth pedal (Future Impact), which is top notch, but I'm mainly using the Chromatron with my Broughton germanium fuzz in the send return as my go-to for an analog synth effect.

hmmm...I need to explore the send of the chromatron. Putting it in it's own dedicated loop in an ES-8 has been a revelation to it's sound since it gets such a clean signal now...what an amazing sounding filter
