I preordered the MKiii Octabvre, I have wanted the MKii for a while, but the larger size kept me with the mini (which I also love). Will be glad to have all the features of the mkiii in a smaller enclosure

same thoughts! It was a great decision to go this way.

I know the second run states that, but didn't know if the first one did. That info was overote by the current statement. Maybe its cached

Not sure if this type of post is allowed here, but I like hearing pedals out in the wild. Ryan Stasik of jam/prog rock band Umphrey's McGee uses 3 Leaf gear, and is a big fan of the solo sub octave synth sound. He uses the Octabvre mkII (switched from an OC-2) and also has a Doom on his board, and he's used the Proton in the past. In this video from their show last weekend, he uses the Octabvre during the middle jam section, with some filter at times. I love the sound he gets and the creative lines he makes up during the jam. Song starts at 0:50, jam starts at 2:58


Here's his board from that string of shows. There are a few more videos of the live stream on their youtube where he uses similar sounds during the jams.

This is more than allowed. It’s encouraged! Seeing the gear we love being used by world class players.

Octabvre Mk3 arriving Saturday!

To be clear, I have and love and use my chromatron pretty much every time I play. I have heard some say that the newest proton is the Chromatron with some of the controls stripped away, so if the newest version of proton can cop the tones I love from the chromatron, I'm in.
