3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

I have them on the pedal already. That was my first solution but it didn’t quite pan out. I think it was easier without them. I wear US size 12 shoes, so tightly spaced switches aren’t really built for me unfortunately.

I’ve been thinking about making a bar that spans switches across two single-switch pedals, such that each can be switched independently or both can be switched together. It may work as a straight bar, or it may have to be articulated. Or it may have to extend beyond the width of the pedal(s) to function. Feasibility studies are a ways off as my shop is not in operation for a while.

A bit late on this, perhaps, but have you tried using buttons! I’ve a mini tallboy from Barefoot buttons—works like a charm! Granted, it’s at one end of my nano board; so hitting the engage (on/off) switch might be easier than if the pedal were in the middle of a larger board.

Oh man I have a question for you I had so much problems with #leafoctaver before Stomp HX? I tried my 3Leaf Octabvre MK2 before Stomp HX and it was terrible, some sounds specially drives and distortions sounded awful if you have octaver before Stomp HX.

I used to keep my MKIII in the fx loop so that I could control where it's placed in the chain. Currently, my chain is: EQ>Comp>FX Loop>[Parallel path: Drives]>Chorus>Amp>Comp. I'm not sure if there would be any difference between placing the FX Loop at the very beginning vs plugging MKIII output to HX input; but I've been happy with placing comps before octavers, and I can't do that going straight into the MKIII first.

[In full disclosure, at the moment, I have a Zoom MS70CDR in the loop rather than the Octabvre. I have a preset setup for a quasi-Microsynth sound using the Legacy Bass Octaver--it's decent enough]

Still looking, I need some reverd so I can use delay, reverb, tremolo, chorus and phaser... that's it.... was looking at Walrus Mako 1, but I think MS70CDR will do the trick

I think you'll definitely be pleased considering the price point. In addition to the various threads here and on guitar forums for patch ideas, consider synth forums as well, where it has also proven to be quite popular.

Is it just me or does it look identical to the first run of Doom 2s?
It looks like the standard d2 but stripped down to take to screenprint better, that's how I prep metal, looks the same afterward. If you were to add an oil, it would look exactly the same, black.

Just remember tho the circuit board floating around before the mk3, had nothing to do with it

Edit: if I took anything away from his whole DG debacle, he seems to plan for the future. ie, bought a boat load of those inclosures

I was honestly hoping for something like the chromatron, painted from top-bottom

Thats what I mean though. I have an older Doom 2 & it doesnt have the black finish. Looks like the raw oil reactive steel, somewhat distressed.

When he first mentioned the ghost finish I thought MAYBE he was gonna do a thick clear coat & then print on top of that & then do another clear coat so that the print would be suspended between two layers & give the illusion of floating above the surface of the steel... I dunno, I was really intrigued lol
