The Little Black Box on reverb just got reduced to $300, which seems about as reasonable as you could expect these days. Not affiliated.
I regret selling my b.e.a.d. v2, the v3 just wasnt the same but I ended up with an ie oxide & it does the job
I regret selling my version 1, but the Solidgoldfx 76 is actually doing what I wanted all along… distorted low end with distorted octave as well (every time I used a distortion / overdrive in front of the bead for the “clean blend” to be distorted, would overly compress the bead and sound like poop

Wonder if spencer is a ghost. His pedals are solid gold, but his customer service reputation is going down thru the toilet.
He should parner with a larger company or sell his rights to build enough pedals. It will bring him enough cash, just like B.K. buttler did with his circuits (tubeworks to chandler)

Yeah, if I remember his initial hiatus stemmed from mental health issues, dunno if he's still stuggling... i know it's hard to show up for a handful of people all the time let alone masses of people... sometimes you just need a break from it all & to be with yourself & ground.
I hope he's doing alright.
His designs are amazing, I hope he find the way to do business with other companies to keep bringing his ideas to life.

So… this might be a crazy idea. I’ve got a B-Stock mkIII Octabvre that I bought when Spencer released them recently. It hasn’t lost any letters or finish yet but who knows if that day is coming.
I’m finding that I struggle with the two switches close together and kinda miss my older large format Octabvre. I don’t have room for that on my board anymore but think I could do with the mini version that just has a single footswitch. I’m considering offering my mkIII up for trade for a Mini. If you’re holding a Mini and are curious about trading for an mkIII (B-stock) please shoot me a PM.

A bit late on this, perhaps, but have you tried using buttons! I’ve a mini tallboy from Barefoot buttons—works like a charm! Granted, it’s at one end of my nano board; so hitting the engage (on/off) switch might be easier than if the pedal were in the middle of a larger board.

I use it sideway, because I dont use the sub button. I just dont like small pedals. I will trade my tuner for a large format st300 tuner
I have them on the pedal already. That was my first solution but it didn’t quite pan out. I think it was easier without them. I wear US size 12 shoes, so tightly spaced switches aren’t really built for me unfortunately.

Well, somebody’s getting a good deal on that trade. I love the smaller form with sub-switch.
I’m 6’-5” tall, though curiously I used to be 6’-6” but as I close in on my 40th birthday gravity has evidently knocked me down an inchSize 12?! Yeah, those won’t work
At that height, by most percentiles, my feet are smaller than average. That factoid doesn’t make my feet any more pedal friendly unfortunately 
I wear an 11 but never find myself switching an octaver mid song, so I'd prefer the extra functionality.
