3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

Anyone see a option for high gain?

“DOOM 2 receives a few circuit updates for 2023. I've incorporated some of the changes from last year’s HIGH GAIN MOD. Besides having more available gain, the circuit has a bit more upper midrange presence, a modified treble control, and a higher crossover frequency. The circuit can still be tuned further for guitar use on special request, but now this is done by modifying an RC filter in the gain section. This is the most dynamic and powerful version of the DOOM 2 to date. If I could only use one pedal for the rest of my life, this would be it.”

With so many supposed changes why not call it the Doom III?

Oh, so it's not an option. The gain pot just has a lot more to do

I checked out the site during the sale just to see the interface for when i actually plan on doing it. Didn't see any option directly on the DOOM 2 page to select the high gain mod which i think means you have to request that in the order info notes section when checking out, which is gunna take extra time and mean most people won't be able to pull it off in time, which is a shame.

It'd be nice if Spencer could set it up so adding to the cart took it out of stock and reserved it for 5 minutes, giving people time to actually fill out the info and not making it such an obscene mad-dash. Although this method presents it's own problems as well

Sounds like a lot of development for a product that sell out anyway. But yup, that would be nice

I waited until 30 seconds before 11 based on my iPhone clock with the Shop page up, refreshing every 5 seconds. Popped up, clicked Buy Now and quickly typed “Guitar mod please” in the notes (You could have that ready with cut/paste) then ApplePay (Has all your info ready) and made it in. Whew.
