Whew, after missing out on the red Doom 2 both times, I actually got a Royal Proton! (Without using ApplePay lol). I'm so happy because the Proton is one current 3 Leaf offering I have never experienced and I really dig the Royal color.
I didn't see a PayPal option... was I too concentrated double-checking my browser's auto-fill?
edit: ah I see others have used PP, I guess I just didn't see it.
I was a little worried this time. Was refreshing the page until it popped up, clicked on it, clicked purchase and got an error saying it couldn't be added. clicked again and it added it to my cart. Thoguht for a few moments (stupidly) about which e-mail address I was using and quickly entered the e-mail and so on.
I had my credit card number in my clipboard ready to paste. The card next to me for the Expiry and CVV. Just typed as fast as I can. One thing that did speed things up was the address search. Normally that doesn't work well for overseas addresses, but it picked up my Australian address with no problems. So that was filled out quickly. Managed to submit it, hopefully with no problems.
I really didn't expect this one to be as quick as the last one. It is a little hectic.
Got one! Made sure autofill settings were good to go beforehand and used Paypal
i hope there were 2 drops on the proton. would be nice to give us slow mortals another chance to get one. Cheers to my fellow tbers that got one
Due to the issues with carts last time it was stated there would only be a single drop this time. A bit of a pain for international as I had to get up for 5am, but I was due for an awkward hour drop anyways after all the easy ones.
On his last update he says that he will consider an international-only release.

I'm impatient, so didn't put a hold on this pedal for another one to save on shipping.
But wondering if maybe I should have. Anyone international holding their pedal for a future release?
I'd love an international release quota, but i'd also love to see these releases continue in general and i'd hope after a number of drops there will be more around for everyone making the second hand market balance out and still sell out, but with more of a chance for everyone.
I might get the Proton held. Out of the 3 releases it's the Doom that I wanted the most, so I'm not in a big rush to get the Proton delivered.
That's a lot of hoping. Why does it have to be this way? Why can't Spence just let Darkplace or Keeley do the manufacturing?
I have no clue. Maybe he wants to keep his designs to himself? If there are regular drops it will have to even out. Things are scarce at the moment, and this is only the second drop, I hope it just keeps going. Let's see how everything is once there are a few drops of the same pedal.
