The Shallow Water is another option. It’s one of my all-time favorite pedals, though I never use it as a chorus.
I'm using the Asheville Music Tools ACV-1. Not really designed for bass, so I have it in a loop with a little crossover sending it only ~150hz and up, but it's incredibly flexible and the modulation sound really great. Being able to control delay time, tone, and feedback on a chorus is pretty fun for getting strange metallic and synth-y noises.
The Horrothia Type One is beautiful too. The Polytope has a smaller footprint though and is lovely. The Anadime has side jacks but is also an all-time great for bass.

I have a Horrothia Type One on the way. It's sounds really great in the demo's I've seen. I liked the Anadime and Jam a lot, but those side jacks are bad for my mental space.
Right now I bounce around between the Analogman, Tech 21 Boost Chorus, and Polytope. I really like the Tech 21, but it's huge and has side jacks. The Polytope is killer, but that's going to go on my synth board with a Subterranea, Doom2, Xerograph, Polytope, Nimbus.
The Horrothia only has a single control for rate/intensity. I'm hoping that it's dialed in to my liking and will be a great live pedal with only one knob to manage.
The Polytope is easily my #1 chorus choice as well. Detuner style choruses are my jam, I don't usually get along with the warble of traditional speed/depth style choruses.

Boss CE-2w Waza Craft chorus. It doesn’t sound as thick and lush as my all time fave, the Mr. Black Analog Vintage Chorus/Vibrato. That. said, it is inexpensive, readily available, stupidly easy to dial in, and sounds killer on bass (and synth, and everything).
…and if top jack is a must, the current Walrus Julia gets into the same territory with the small footprint and top jacks.

Analogman Mini chorus has been a long time go-to option. Walrus Julia is another popular pick.
My vote goes for Drunk Beaver Jellyfish. Like Analogman, it’s based on Small Clone, has similar controls like Analogman, but it has a tone control and the mix control doesn’t touch your dry signal, but is actually a volume control for the wet signal. I love it. Can be subtle or fat and thick depending on the settings.

I liked the Jam Bass Waterfall, but the CE-2W is also great, and if I have to have side jacks, it may as well be in a rugged enclosure like the Boss.
I think the Julia would probably do it, too. If it's part of a synth chain, all you need is some wobble at the end of a mangled signal. I use a dual LFO phaser for that. I've also used a Phase 90 sort of pedal for it. It's easy to overthink this, but if you've got some combination of octave, drive of some description, and filter upstream, the wobble is the least important part and lots of pedals will do it.
If you want it to pull double duty as a more traditional chorus, I can see being pickier.
So I have the Julia on my board after the Doom…fantastic gates synth sound. I have the rate set really low which I prefer. I also use the EVH version of the phase90 which has no low end loss and doesn’t accentuate the mids the way the orange phase 90 does.
Got a Wonderlove Deluxe on the way. Was curious about the effects loop and @fivestringgecko delivered with the manuals a few pages back. Thank you!
Excited to try this out. I really am looking forward to toggling between an auto filter and an expression pedal, and the effects loop will be great to put the Doom2 in. I like the Proton MK4 a lot, so have high hopes for this guy.
I've tried many chorus units including the Anadime, Waza, Julia, Waterfall, Horithia. My favorite is the 70's Chorus and the Line 6 Original Chorus built into the HX One effects unit. Top jacks, but a little larger, easy to power. But you get a bunch of other useable effects. Love the MXR Gray Flanger and the Memory Man modulated delay built into the HX.

What’s everyone’s go to setting for the doom 2 as a synth sound? I have a celebrity effects Taylor Shift going into it. Do you prefer an octave and dry blend or just the octave sound going into the doom2?
I find the hi knob to be extremely responsive - I've been digging this setting as of late, adds almost a bell-like quality, especially effective when used with the Proton and Octabvre.
It does, PLUS it glows in the dark!! Definitely much cooler than the "lame" versions that don't!Plus the hi-viz Doom 2 sounds the best
