My friend ordered one. The build quality is excellent. It is about the size of a small volume pedal. He decided it was just too big for his pedalboard and sent it back. If you don't mind the size, it really is a first-rate piece of equipment.

i love the idea of this thing, i just cant think of a good use for it on MY pedalboard

i cool thing for it though is to mess with delays, you can move the time parameter and get those cool/weird tracking noises, it would be awesome to work that into a song

Electro-Harmonix made one of those in the 70's called the Hot Foot. They're relatively rare these days. It's cool that somebody started making a new version.

WARNING! I have read in numerous places in the past that while the concept is good, the Third Hand has problems with reliability. I was going to get one before I read some reviews. But perhaps the problem has been fixed. It was something to do with the wire connection to the knob, if I recall correctly.

I will have to try and dig these up later though.

oh the joys of a paralell wired analog delay set to oscillation and a foot control for speed!!!!!! AAAAHHHH my head cant take the possibilitys.

Yeah, you mod your delay so you can replace the pot with an expression pedal. I've done it, planning to do it to my BMMS to turn it into a freaky wah pedal too!

There's a guy named battleofmidway on another forum, crazy DIYer. does the majority of his pedals in old wahs. The pedal controls soem parameter (speed on delay/phaser/chorus, tone of fuzz, etc.) of the pedal, and the rest of the knobs/switches are mounted on the side. it's pretty sweet. I always considered doing it with a delay, but have yet to find the time.
