4 string fretless first build

Keen of u guys to notice the case. Needed a light hard shell and refused to pay idk $50 to $70 for one. Plus the rifle case is the only thing it would fit in due to the neck profile. Oh did I mention the only place I have to practice right now is on campus in my office. I've been sneaking the bass in through the load bay to avoid issues with the case.

Thanks again for all the good will I promise Sophia (her name) will get started on bass ASAP.

As for clips I'll have to work on that. Anyone with some advice on the best way to do that?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Spacing at the nut is 11mm center to center. If your interested can't remember if I mentioned it before the spacing at the bridge is .656 according to hipshot. My measurements have it at about 17mm center to center.

I love playing this thing time just flies. For me it's just so comfortable and fast. Though chording near the nut is a little tough due to the lack of fingerboard radius.

Thanks for the specifications.

Do you happen to know what the actual spacing is between the string clamp holes when measured on centers? I'm considering having a bass built with the 4-string Hipshot headless system and would use the .656" bridge spacing as you have. I love the narrow spacing for ergonomic reasons.

Is the width of the headpiece 1.56" or 1.5"? I have had Hipshot actually tell me two different widths.

I wish I could post a recording but I'm not sure how. I love how it sounds, its very much like a fretless, but also some of the grind you get with a p bass, and than a bit of upright thump from the tape wound strings

The head piece is 39mm by my measurement. Im not sure what you meant by the clamps at the bridge? Are you talking about the saddles?
