Personally I would feel much more comfortable owning and gigging with this 72.

Oh yeah, here's the band. This picture doesn't quite capture the blueness of those jackets, but you get the idea...

The bass is pretty cool, but there are a few things that illustrate it's early 70's assembly line heritage:

  • The nut slot spacing is off
  • The D and G strings don't line up on the pole pieces very well.
  • And check out this shot of the body at the neck joint:
