As much as I love Entwistle and Status' basses, it would be a cold day in Hell before I shelled out that kind of money for one. If anyone is nuts enough about either to buy it, good luck, but count me out. Why?
Why?
Because I would like to have one. (I did say IF I won the lottery) It is less than the price of a nice sports car. Heck, I have motorcycles that cost more than that.
Like he said, IF you can find one for under 50K buy it.
I have been searching for them for a couple of years now. I can not even find out how many were made.
Do you know what John's bass sold for after his death? That one is a drop in the bucket compared to what his sold for.
Price is extremely considering Entwistle's sold earlier this year for just under $25,000.
If I hit the lotto I would snap it up and give it to you. Guess I better start playing the lotto then. I'll PM you when I win man...If I hit the lotto I would snap it up in a heartbeat.
As I think I have seen somewhere, John's 5 buzzards where sold togheter for about 25000£ at the sotherby's auction?
