My 22 year old nephew prop Alex Corbisiero has been called up for England to face France. He plays for the London Irish. I started a Six Nations thread a couple of weeks ago on the Double Bass side. Check this out:

Awesome! Congrats to him! Not an easy position to get into with the class of Forwards England have at the minute (PS, prop is clearly the best position in the game )

I think France are going to be in for a shock up against England. Either way, whoever wins that game, has likely won the 6 nations!

I loved the commentary a week or so back.

When Chabal was subbed on, the crowd started booing. The commentators took outrage at this stating that it shouldnt happen because "this isn't football"

Chabal is a beast of a second row (and my favourite French player!)

True that, Scotland have a great upcoming example of that! Richie Gray is 6ft10 and 275lbs, at 21!

Only just found this thread....

Really looking forward to the England - France game this coming weekend.

I have to say that France looked like the favourites at the start of the championship, but their performances against Scotland and Ireland have been lacklustre, in fact, they mainly won against Ireland because Ireland's lack of discipline gave away far too many penalties. The Medard try that saved the game for France was nicely done, but you never really felt that they were in control of the game and Ireland were unlucky.


So unless a different side turn up at Twickers I'd have to back England for the home win (I'm a little partisan of course), England just have the look and feel of a team who are firing on all cylinders and the control the England forwards are exerting looks better than the French right now.

It'll be tense though, France are always dangerous and if they click on the day it could be a different story. Marc Lievremont has already given our boys a great team talk, so let's see what the first 20 minutes bring.

While Chris Ashton is a down right amazing player, get him telt, we don't want this showboating stuff in Rugby!

I hope we see a good game with Scotland playing Ireland at Murrayfield (just round the corner, still tempted to get a ticket, not quite sold out yet, tho not enough moneys!), but Ireland will take home the win I think.

I just don't know what's happened with the Scottish team, we were doing so well last year

England have won this 6 nations, and unless there is a major upset, I think they'll get the grand slam.

Missed the Italy-Wales game earlier, was at another match.

However, Scotland - Ireland tomorrow. We have a much changed lineup. I'm hoping we can get at least one win this 6 nations!

I agree tho, not too confident about it. Tho we did beat you last time we played, and that was in Ireland.

It'll not be a walkover of a game either way, I'd be pretty confident in saying that. I always look forward to the Scotland/Ireland game most! Though nothing would give me more pleasure than beating the English.

Beating England is always a winner (and we should have last year )

Scotland - Ireland is always a really physical game, always in the forwards. It'll be good, always a great atmosphere too
