6 String BASS Club (Guitarists keep out!)

Here is a picture of my favorite bass to play! I have posted pictures of it on talkbass a ton of times, but I can't help it
I love how comfortable a six string is to play! I just ordered my third bass from CB basses, and it will be a seven stringer. Not to sure if I should have just ordered another six string!!!

How do the tapewounds treat you? I'm using rounds on my fretless 6'er, but my jazz side has been digging Chris Brubeck's sound as of late. The only problem is that I'm still lending my services to a heavy rock band, and I don't want to string up my main bass with tapewounds only to have the sound lost in the mix.
