70's reissue Jazz Bass

I have a neck sitting here from one of these basses, and let me tell you I cannot wait to get it on my Squier CV! The neck feels killer!
And I much prefer the binding at the ends of the fretwire. Fender does the same thing on the 75 reissue....

I bought one in early 2008 for $699. It was sunburst with black pickguard and a rosewood neck. They're MIM. Looked and sounded great. I eventually replaced it with one of the 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz. Wish I still had it as a backup. Great if you want the vintage look & feel and you're on a budget.
I've been GASsing for one of these for SO long (that exact colour combo, everything).....they do a USA version of this bass?! I thought it was only a MIM version?

I really dig that tort guard. The only thing that has stopped me from doing the same is that if I did my bass and guitar would no longer match.

I must have last posted in here while I was still coveting this bass, but she's mine now!!
I'm mostly a fretless player these days, but my main fretted is my 70's Classic Jazz Bass. This bass has the best, fattest neck. The sweetest Jazz Bass tone. The coolest 70s look and feel. The only mods I've done are swapping out the stock bridge for a BadAss II and rewriting the controls to VBT.
