Over the years, I have grown accustomed to my Wife asking the following "Well Honey, is it something you need?"

At first I would fall for the ploy and say "Well, I guess not" and hell, she was usually right! - but now 30+ years later I simply respond with "Yes!"

I can't say that it makes life any easier - but it DOES make things progress a little faster.....

I have noticed that my wife only notices changes in colour. Hence all my basses for years have been sunburst and speaker cabs black. Problem solved.

Dang, this thread started out nowhere, and now it's pretty funny. Except for me...you guys were smart enough to tell your wives that you needed that gear. Well she did let me get that Realistic bass. But that one I had to have. That was a religious calling. She's not too pleased about me getting another PF115, though. I'm like, hey, how long is this endorsement going to last???
