I don't plan on ordering any pickups any time soon, but as a fellow Sacramentan I'm glad to see your work getting so much appreciation on TB.

Because no one wants or is willing to send in one for examination. Haven't seen one for sale , but also do not continuously scan for these pickups. Would re-create if a pickup became availableNice. One Thunderbird pickup that no one's yet made a replica of that people in the Thunderbird group seem to want is the sidewinder Bicentennial ones (1976-1979).
I'm pretty sure I can recreate one if needed , it looks like it's a standard A5 magnet between two coils on their side with steel bars in the coil. The patent basically gives up the design.Because no one wants or is willing to send in one for examination. Haven't seen one for sale , but also do not continuously scan for these pickups. You didn’t happen to find gold covers did you?Located and purchased an order of factory EB0 pickup covers. They should be here is 3-4 weeks. These covers will be for our Neo EB0 , Alnico versions available along with magnet mix options like Alnico 5 / Neodymium. Ceramic for SF tones , 4 connection wiring for coil splitting.
Did not know gold exist?. I was lucky to get the chrome covers. It took quite a few emails and some being very nice and professional to get the sales manager to part with any. I had to buy 200pcs minimum. You didn’t happen to find gold covers did you?
