I'm one of those few people that hates pearloid. The only thing it looks good on to me is a mahogany bodied Tele Thinline. (I also like the old Goya and similar guitars/basses that were made entirely of pearloid/MOTS)

But I'm kind of a freak. Lots of people dig the pearls.

Black all the way. Black blocks just need a black pickguard. I'd also entertain putting cream pickup covers on it. But I really dig cream pickup covers. All in all, looks like you've got the makings of a sick jazz bass!

The mint is a cool-as-ice idea, but it's just too minty-fresh for me.
