A/B pedal with level controls

Looking for an A/B pedal for running two basses into one amp. But I need one that has level controls. Anyone out there make such a thing?

The idea is to run two basses with their volumes dimed out. Set the level control for A and for B to where both basses are putting out the same volume levels. This way all I have to do is sit one bass down, grab the other bass, and hit the A/B switch so I can change out basses on the fly between songs.

Don't know, looks like an input on each side and output up top or on the end above the two volume knobs. Can't find a picture of that end to see what that is.

Carl Martin Match Box ... Little expensive but 2 inputs w vol controls, 1 output and 1 switch for A/B so for me perfect... nothing extra..

This is what I use too, but if you don't need the extra bells and whistles (separate tone controls, DI, effects loop) there are much cheaper options.

+1. I’ve had one 15 years. It also has tone controls on one of the channels, which makes it perfect for doubling. The pickups on acoustic basses usually need some low end added and high end pulled off IME before the signal is usable.

I think there’s a version that has a dirt channel as well; haven’t tried that one.

What about a straight A/B switch with a volume after it. This way you can mute the volume when you do the switch, and bring it back up where you need it for each bass.
Get a Visual Volume and you can “see” what level you’re at.

I use the Bassbone OD and love it - it has volume and tone control for each channel as well as switches to use active or passive basses or EUB.

It's not a great OD but works fine for adding a bit of grit.

The jack on the top is for the power supply. This could work for you if you put a cheap a/b like the original Switchblade in front of it, but that's kind of a kludge.

I have an LS2 that I have used for all sorts of things, It works great for switching two basses. One bass plugged into the input, the other into the A return, and set mode to A<>bypass. Bass on the input goes through without volume change, bass on the A return can be volume matched with the green level knob. You can switch three basses with it set to A>B>bypass. One thing to keep in mind, one bass has to be plugged into the Input, or the pedal won't power on.

A few weeks ago I was in a music store, and an employee was trying to sell me something, and when I mentioned the LS2 to him he scoffed and told me that pedal is fine if you like having your tone destroyed... I'm not entirely sold on the whole "buffers suck" mentality, but I guess there are people out there that are more sensitive to this.
