Ordering an Apogee Jam today.
Gard now has this thin Katalox top on reserve for me. It can be used to make an LG Standard Plus bass. I'll leave it available for a custom build for a little while. If nobody grabs it, I'll eventually turn it into a stock piece for my store.

The bass SOUNDS amazing, too. That all Wenge wedge neck produces the most pure notes you can imagine. If "piano" tone is your thing, that's the neck for you. The B-string is absolutely amazing on this bass.
I've played 3 basses with this neck on it so far: Greg is right, it WORKS.

And it's been a variety of body woods, right? This one is Mahogany, Doug B's was Walnut. Do you remember the body wood on the third one? I'm wondering if Ash was ever in the mix...
