Holy heck... Mark's bass... wow. This one is done and shipped straight to Mark yesterday! It's a Century Signature V with an Ash Body, Koa top, Pau Ferro Board and Aguilar DCB pickups.

Here are some photos that Gard took at the Roscoe shop. This is the entire facebook album that Gard created:

And here are some of my favorite shots:

I think you're safe, Jon! My man Richard grabbed that bass before it had even been here 24 hours. The 2-price-increases-ago price was a great temptation.

Hey, guys - I had a little fun with a video camera and a Roscoe bass just before New Year's. It's up on youtube now:

Still love the tone - and look- of this bass. I have a top in reserve for a fretless (assuming I get through the summer without needing my savings - darn daycare) but I still am not sure how much I'd actually use a fretless. This would get played for sure.

First gig last night with the new bass. I really like the Aguilar pickups, and the two band eq is perfect.

Posted this pic on the Roscoe Club thread also.

Man, that's a beautiful bass! I hope you're able to set it down long enough to give your other Roscoe some love! LOL

I think the Standard Plus basses are every bit (maybe even more depending on personal taste) as amazing as a Custom.

I've only laid my hands on a couple of them (one of them being your old 6 string), but from a tone and playability standpoint, I agree with you 100%. Looks-wise, like you said, it boils down to personal taste. I prefer the matching headstock and carved body of the Custom/Signature models, but some may not, or it just might not matter to some people. Had I not wanted a few options only available on the Custom/Signature basses, I would have gone with Standards in a heartbeat, especially after messing around with a couple at Gard's place at the GTG.

At the price point that the Standard/Standard Plus basses are selling at, the quality of instrument that you are getting is unbelievable.

Hello, old friend. Old timers in this forum will recognize this bass. I've had it in stock for quite some time. I thought I had it sold about a year ago. A guy gave me a deposit and was going to chip away at it as a layaway. Sadly, the chipping away part never happened, so I have finally given up on that course of action. I flushed 10 months of time I might have otherwise used to sell the bass, but c'est la vie.

This bass is 4.5 years old at this point. It has never left my store, and it is absolutely considered new for all intents and purposes. That said, I want to find a home for it very, very badly. No bass should hang around a music store this long.

Please - no trades, no layaways. Cash, check or charge, and first come first serve.

$2699 shipped. For an Ebony board.:eyebrow:

I still can't believe that this bass hasn't sold - or I haven't bought it. Played and sounded amazing when I played it at the shop a couple years ago.
