More tops to choose from. Roscoe's wood pile never ceases to amaze!!

Here are the latest tops that I reserved today:

I'm trying to get my Roscoe inventory back up. Not up so far as my former glory days where I had 30+ in stock... but up a good 6-10 basses definitely from where it is now.

In that vein, the first of every month I'm going ask Gard to start moving forward with one of the basses I have on order. Today's choice is this headless bad boy. I really want to see one of these headless Roscoes, it's a point of severe curiosity for me.

The neck and body are both already ready to shape, so I'm guessing we'll see this bass within 1-2 months...

That's quilted maple? Looks more like koa.

Cool Greg! That's a beautiful piece of maple. It really looks like it has as much flame as it does quilt.

I'm hoping to check out Joel's headless Roscoe at the GTG this year.

I think the Roscoe headless basses look amazing. I shouldn't be surprised I guess as I think most Roscoes look amazing.

Looks like there is a new addition to the family !!!

After a few tweaks it's playing like a dream !! I believe this is bass has the most diverse set of tones I've ever heard come out of one instrument.

Yes, Nord dual coil pick-ups (with switchable center taps) and Bart preamp (three position switchable mid switch)

Here's another progress shot of a bass being made for Richard in Roanoke. There's a ton of flaming in the top that will pop out once some finish hits the wood. This one is going to be ridiculous. Just 1-2 more weeks...

Here's the flame! This is just the sealer coat, so there's more finish and polishing yet to do. But now the flame is jumping out at us!
